We had a Cyta line installed this week at work. When i was speaking with the engineer he said that the 2M upgrade is due end of March. It will be automatic upgrade and no extra charge. Hmmmmm free upgrade, not Cyprus. Anyone heard any more info on the long awaited 2M upgrade on I-Choice

Latest I'm hearing through my contacts is September. Cyta are as frustrated about this as we are, they want to upgrade and possibly even reduce costs further. In the meantime, we have to wait for Primetel to completely recover their investment before we can get an upgrade  Perhaps a total boycott of the Primetel IPO would be in order, then again, the sheep will probably buy their shares regardless of what we do. Just remember the Avacom IPO 

I just had a basic 1meg Netrunner put into my apartment, they installed the new Thompson Router with WiFi enabled by default and already preconfigured with WEP and WPA PSK keys see: http://www.thomson.net/GlobalEnglish/Products/dsl-modems-gateways/residential_wireless/thomson_tg585v7/Pages/default.aspx No problems so far, P2P is working fine and the speed is good (120k/sec on limewire during a quick test this morning) I've yet to try bittorrent. Maybe over the long weekend
