Cablenet made their high speed internet packages much cheaper and stopped offering anything below 2Mbps. The company also removed all installation fees.
This makes Cablenet the obvious choice for anybody living in the (few) areas where their services are available.

As of today Cablenet offers 2Mbps in the basic package to all existing Internet subscribers.
The basic Talk, Surf & View package will be offered at €45.90 (£26.86) per month and the basic Surf+View package at €39.90 (£23.35) per month including VAT.
The upgrade has already been performed automatically by our systems and the new prices will come into force for existing subscribers from the 1st of May 2008. To enable your new connection speed simply restart your modem.
We would like to inform you that you can upgrade any basic Surf package to 4Μbps with €30.00 (£17.56) extra monthly charge, or to the lightning fast 10Μbps with only €60.00 (£35,.2) extra monthly charge!
