Title: Own Modem/Router
Post by: Labarum on March 22 2009 12:25pm
I will arrive in Cyprus with my own microfilters and a Netgear DG834GT Wireless Modem/Router.

Will CYTA insist on me taking and paying for their hardware?

The only reference to the installation fee I can see says "modem included".

yes , you have to buy their own (there is a similar post in the forum)
You need their hardware because they did not provide you the service with your any other device.
You pay for the service (i-choice, netrunner, landline fee)
not the device. Just in case you have an adsl gateway it won't work as a ADSL modem. Any equipment you have it will work as a usual router for sharing the access point
