Title: Questions about Cablenet Post by: pconstants on June 09 2009 10:30am hi, i'm really interested in getting cablenet, just have a couple of questions for those of you who already have it:
-how does the television receive the cable channels? does the "cable" (coaxial) connect directly into the television? / does it connect into a set-top-box before connecting into the television? / does it connect into a little decoder device and then into the television using an RF (antenna) cable? -does anyone have any experience using a "slingbox" device with the cablenet setup to watch the tv channels on a computer through the network? thanks Title: Questions about Cablenet Post by: pconstants on June 09 2009 10:38am another question..!
-what is the make/model of the cable modem/wireless router provided? thanks! This adapter is installed as a socket on your wall. The other side has two outputs one for your modem and one for your tv where coaxial cables are also used. The modem is of Aris brand Title: Re: Questions about Cablenet Post by: turbolad on June 11 2009 09:49am I used cablenet for a short while (3 months) and had no issues apart from a few at the beginning due to it being a new installation into the building.
Speeds were fast and it seemed unshared. I always got my max up and download speed on torretns ect. Title: Re: Questions about Cablenet Post by: efrem on June 16 2009 04:07am yet for more answers on your questions about cablenet see similar posts
