Title: SoEasy mobile broadband settings? Post by: MemoAlex on June 23 2009 08:18am Hi! I got the SoEasy SIM card and want to use it for the mobile broadband internet via my mobile phone (SonyEricsson K770) or via 3.5G HSDPA USB modem that I have. But I cannot find the settings for the internet (mobile phone or modem). Can somebody tell me the sttings?
Thanks in advance! Title: Re: SoEasy mobile broadband settings? Post by: efrem on June 24 2009 10:57am just give them a call and tell them to send the setting Over The Air to your mobile.
Or go here http://www.cytamobile-vodafone.com register your number and send the settings yourself to your mobile Title: Re: SoEasy mobile broadband settings? Post by: MemoAlex on July 11 2009 02:30am Thanks! I've tried the settings found on cytamobile-vodafone site but failed. I've called to their call center and they told me that there is no internet on SoEasy - internet is available on contract tariffs only. It's strange as in Greece I got the prepaid SIM card with HSDPA internett access with no problem.

http://www.cytamobile-vodafone.com/Default.aspx?ID=502 you can get the setting there. for vodafone live for mms and for wap there all the same settings. make sure you enable 3G and you are good to go Title: Re: SoEasy mobile broadband settings? Post by: alan on July 21 2009 08:17am Hi there, sorry if I'm posting this is the wrong place. I come to Cyprus 5 times a year want to get mobile broadband as the costs of a fixed line wouldn't be justified. I currently have a soeasy SIM that I swap into my mobile. What do I need to connect my netbook via my SIM so I can get mobile broadband? And what do I do once I have it, ie how do I connect. I get 3G coverage fine on my phone. Sorry for the dumb question!
Title: Re: SoEasy mobile broadband settings? Post by: efrem on July 21 2009 09:37am just connect your mobile on your laptop with a usb cable, check the settings and your good to go.
I've got an K850i from Sony Ericsson and works fine. You wont need those usb 3g modems in ridiculous prices. any good 3g mobile phone will do the exact same thing |
