Η Κυπριακή Τοπική Κοινότητα Χρηστών Ubuntu Linux σε συνεργασία με το
φοιτητικό παράρτημα ΙΕΕΕ Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου σας προσκαλεί στο 4ο Πάρτι
Κυκλοφορίας Ubuntu/Fedora όπου θα παρουσιαστούν οι καινούργιες εκδόσεις
Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) και Fedora 12 (Constantine). Η Εκδήλωση θα
γίνει στην Πανεπιστημιούπολη του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου στις 7 Νοεμβρίου
μεταξύ των ωρών 5:00 - 9:00 μμ.

Θα γίνουν 3 παρουσιάσεις και 2 εργαστήρια και είστε ευπρόσδεκτοι να
φέρετε τους υπολογιστές σας για συμμετοχή στα εργαστήρια. Θα υπάρχουν
επίσης μέλη τις κοινότητας που θα παρέχουν τεχνική υποστήριξη σε όσους
έχουν προβλήματα με το Linux.

Πρόγραμμα:

Παρουσιάσεις ( Αμφιθέατρο Β108, κτήριο Συμβουλίου-Συγκλήτου Αναστάσιος
Γ. Λεβέντης):

1) 5:00μμ – Εισαγωγή στο Ubuntu (στα Ελληνικά)

2) 5:30μμ – Μελέτη για την εφαρμογή του Ανοικτού Λογισμικού στην
δημοτική εκπαίδευση, 2004-2009. (στα Ελληνικά)

3) 6:00μμ – Linux για φοιτητές (στα Αγγλικά)

Εργαστήρια (Αίθουσα Β101 - Τμήμα Πληροφορικής):

1) 6:30μμ – Το 3-διάστατο περιβάλλον Compiz και το Κέντρο Πολυμέσων
Moovida (στα Ελληνικά)

2) 7:00μμ – Εγκατάσταση Ubuntu 9.10 (στα Ελληνικά)

The Cypriot Ubuntu Linux Loco Team in cooperation with the Student's
IEEE Branch of Cyprus University would like to invite you to the 4th
Ubuntu/Fedora Release Party where the new release of Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic
Koala) and Fedora 12 (Constantine) are going to be celebrated. The Event
will take place at the Campus of Cyprus University on the 7th on
November between 5:00 - 9:00 pm.

We will have 3 Presentations and 2 Workshops and you are welcome to
bring your computers to participate in the labs. Technical Support will
also be provided by members of the community in case you have any
problems with Linux.

Nice for Cyprus and i am glad that this time the event takes place in Nicosia and not in Limassol as it did.
Too bad thought for Linux geeks out there.
Just like the Release parties abroad the event was spoiled by Win 7 release
