Netway is one of the newer ISPs in Cyprus. Services by Netway include internet connectivity, web hosting and software development.
You can subscribe for Netway ADSL (i-choice) directly from their website and have your account automatically created within minutes. Netway is also one of the few ISPs to offer speeds up to 8Mbps for home users. However these higher speeds are only offered through the Primetel platform and their cost is still quite high for the average home user.
Netway ADSL packages
Netway provides ADSL connectivity for homes and businesses through both the i-choice and the Primetel platforms.

Please see the i-choice platform page for the other fees you will have to pay in order to get ADSL connection. The ISP (Netway in this case) is just one of costs. A Static IP for the Home packages and additional IP addresses for the Business packages are available at an extra cost. Please note that VPN Connections do not include Internet traffic.
Netway ADSL on the Primetel platform
Below are the products Netway offers on the Primetel platform. The prices below, unlike the ones above for i-choice, are all inclusive. This means they include the rental of the telephone line as well as all Internet connectivity costs. The Contention ratio (bandwidth priority) for the FastLane products is 1:20 and for the FastLane Business products 1:5. Services are offered on a 12-month contract.

Hi, I am getting a speed of 70KByte/sec download.
Make sure that you have port forwarding of port 6881 to your computer.
Netway has announced free doubling of speed for the ichoice platform as of 1 dec also.

I had been using Netway for about 4 years. I have to say since i tried ALL of the platforms and ISP's in Cyprus it is by far the best internet provider in Cyprus. You pay a little extra than other providers but at least you get what you pay!!! No peak hours, no capping the lines, no filtering the ports. You can download ANYTIME during the day. Yes it had some downs (shaping, capping) every once a while but they have ALWAYS been upgrading and the problem was solved very quickly. I am in Cablenet at present because i just wanted to try fiber optic as well, but i am considering switching back now even when i pay the same euro for 1Mbits in Netway and 6mbits in Cablenet.
