I cyta triplasiazei tis taxytites tis apo prwti tou gennari. Episis ta 70 euro pou leeis file dekyprio ine gia 2Mbps. Gia 10Mbps ine 90 euro.

CYTA is introducing upgrades as of 1st of January 2011. 512kbps will become 2Mbps, 1 to 3 etc..

when i use cablenet's proxy the ping is stabilized when i don't its 140-130 for example.i hope fix this as well

Does cablenet has a proxy? what is the address?

I have cablenet's TWG850-4 Wireless & VoIP Cable Gateway and 4 computers at home. 2 of the computers happens to have RealTek 8130 series NIC's. The internet drops in these 2 computers every 5 minutes and i have to disable/enable the connection in order to work again. Does anyone else has this situation? I did not had such a problem with primetel's modem.

Note: The computers are virus-free and i have the latest drivers from RealTek.

I am suggesting Netway's FastLane and Primetel. I have used both and im very satisfied.

I had been using Netway for about 4 years. I have to say since i tried ALL of the platforms and ISP's in Cyprus it is by far the best internet provider in Cyprus. You pay a little extra than other providers but at least you get what you pay!!! No peak hours,  no capping the lines, no filtering the ports. You can download ANYTIME during the day. Yes it had some downs (shaping, capping) every once a while but they have ALWAYS been upgrading and the problem was solved very quickly. I am in Cablenet at present because i just wanted to try fiber optic as well, but i am considering switching back now even when i pay the same euro for 1Mbits in Netway and 6mbits in Cablenet.

I have been using the 6M line of Cablenet for one month now. During off-peak hours the connection is great. Streaming, downloading, and communication programs work flawlessly. BUT during the peak hours the  connection is extremely lazy, slow, and has huge ping delays.   

I have been using Netway's FastLane for one year now. The internet is good. P2P applications work really good with great speeds(bittorrent, emule, limewire, etc.).
Http download speeds are slow. If you are downloading a single file throught firefox or iexplore the speed will suck.
The TV is good and the customer service is really good.
