The truth is that in fact all providers can offer better prices but they have no incentive to do so because currently cyta is being restricted by the OCECPR and monopoly law. In essense the private providers are right now charging too much making huge profits in order to build up their network. Since they are already making significant profit there is no reason to decrease prices and in effect gain more subscribers because once they gain significant market share cyta will no longer be restricted and will fight back.
To sum it up
yes they are charging too much and with clever advertising (free crappy laptop)they are luring ignorant customers when in fact their pricing is only about 50 cents cheaper than cyta. So for 50 cents you are getting
1. 2 year contract
2. The hussle of a new installation and the price u will need to pay
3. a crappy laptop
4. Bad to shitty customer service
5. terrible terms and conditions / fair use policy
and all of the above for the amazing offer of being behold!!!! 50 cents cheaper than cyta.

On the other hand you can go to cablenet and with 23 euros which is half the price of any other provider and say no thanks to their sneaky marketing.
A lot of primetel customers are already leaving for cablenet already as indicated in the last survey released by the OCEcPR
http://www.ocecpr.org.cy/nqcontent.cfm?a_id=2687&tt=ocecpr&lang=grSo if you want things to improve our only hope is that cablenet gets all of primetels customers so that they wake up and realise that they have other competition besides cyta.
P.S. Efrem pls do not hijack or post irrelevant things on this thread.
