unfortunately there is no way to set up any kind of server if you are connected with primetel. their router asks for a username and a password and they have no clue what is going on. they even hang the phone up to me while trying to explain what the problem was.

unfortunately or not i have primetel at home. i need to set up a web server, is that possible? someone said that i have to set the pc with this settings:
IP Address:192.168.2.10
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:192.168.2.1
DNS Servers:217.27.32.196 and 217.27.50.125
my ports are all open. when i try to connect on the ip that whatismyip.com returns, i get a web page that needs a username and a password to connect. and i am wondering, is that my ip or am i under some other primetel router?

how can i connect remotely on to my pc?
