I'm guessing that they will try to get themselves ahead of the competition as they are certainly getting the run around from the regulator. Now if the 4Mbit actually gets upgraded to 12Mbit on a home package then that would really be something.
Could Cyprus be finally starting to catch up with the rest of the civilized world?
Cyprus would need a miracle to catch up with the rest civilized world! Most European countries are getting ready to offer 100MBit connection and at affordable prices. In the US they already have a 105Mbit connection from Comcast. The prices in Cyprus are ridiculous. The same goes for the prices for everything that has to do with technology. Not to mention how long it takes for stuff to reach the market. Cyprus is a second rate country who's economy relies manly on tourism. I can not understand how things are moving so slowly for a country that is part of the E.U.. Also the lack of facilities for citizens to develop hobbies and be creative, other than drinking coffee and such is unbelievable. All people have the right to choose but in Cyprus there are not many choices. The citizens of Cyprus need to start demanding these things, they are people too. A letter a day should help.... Could Cyprus be finally starting to catch up with the rest of the civilized world?
