Been browsing some of your forums as I am considering visiting Cyprus for a few years. WOW, you guys certainly seem to have a backward Government department which 'controls' your internet progress! And I thought Cyprus was a progressive country!!! Even here in seriously backward Mexico where corruption is an artform, we start at 4M /512 upload and go up from there! And it is much cheaper than Cyprus . . .
Looks like your 'regulator' may have a larger bank balance than he is declaring? Must be some seriously vested interest somwhere . . .
I notice that Ericsson announced their Cyprus products back in 2007 (With FTTH, the access network is able to deliver a speed of 10Mb/s, 100 Mbps and even 1 Gbps) and yet nothing seems to have happened since? Or have I got it all wrong?
