well if your area is wired with Cablenet i strongly suggest that you subscribe with them. As far as the channels you will be able to receive lots of them with cablenet or if you stick with cyta you can add myvison which are the Tv chanells with Cyta. Of course if you like satellite you will be able to receive the channels that you want with out a big dish.
I don't know for sure if your portal with BBC is going to work outside Uk.
