I'm thinking of taking my work with me and staying in Cyprus for 6 months or so, but ADSL or cable is connectivity is crucial. I've been looking at houses for rent in Paphos. Can I expect to get ADSL there?

By the way - what is the best site for finding properties for rent in Cyprus?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I believe i-choice (DSL Access) has the widest coverage in Paphos. They cover the city of Paphos and several big villages. http://www.i-choice.cyta.com.cy/english/map.php

If you will rent a property then you can ask from the owner to give you the phone number of that property and you can then use that number to check if ADSL is available.

Hey, thanks a lot for your reply. I'll be sure to check the phone number of the properties. If DSL is available, how long does it usually take from the order is placed you they connect you?

By the way, love this site. It is a great resource.

if your land line is activated you can get to a Cyta office and get the router the same day and self install it.
If not you can still get the router for 50Euros i think and wait the technicians to come at your premises. It usually doesn't take more than 3 or 4 days
