Hi everyone,

Huh  I'm new to this site.  I intend to have internet installed soon but am totally confused with the different internet types that I can have in CY.  Here in UK I am fully at speed with it all but can anyone tell me which is the best to have in CY.
I have a property in a village just outside Larnaca and am wondering which would be the best for me.  I currently have a CYTA phone line (disconnected at moment) and dont know whether to have it reconnected or is there some other way I can do it with another provider.  I prefer broadband but dial-up would do and also are there any provdiers that offer unlimited access for a monthly fee?

Many thanks in anticipation   Smiley

well first of all if you want internet, obviously dial-up is out of the question.
yeah, it may it can still work, but it is wayyyy too slow.
You can go to cyta and have your line reconnected, which is the only way to internet since villages,
do not have other mediums for accessing the internet like cable, wi-max ect.
Of course you can check  other providers coverage, like otenet  for example
 http://www.otenet-telecom.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=266
which i dough it, but give it a try, if that doesnt work, the only option is cyta
