Someone to explain us what is the difference between Analog and Digital channels.
I assume you are talking about local stations (that are analog) and channels from satellite (that are digital)?
Or by Digital you mean channels in High Definition?

But still you use the same analog TV to watch the Digital channels, through the coaxial cable right?
How that it works? Don't you need some kind of decoder?
or you pass the video signal to the TV through HDMI?

The difference between them is that the Digital channels are using the computers technology where the videos are made by using the combination of 0 and 1 like computer programs and then sent via cable or terrestrial or satellite. It's like sending someone a video by a mobile or via internet. The advantage of this technology is that you get clear crystal channels (there no noises on the video), you can have higher resolution (like HD) and you can protect them more efficiency (that's why is preferable on satellite).
To get this channels you need a decoder who can decode those media so you can watch them on TV.

Obviously the Analog tv channels you simply connect the coax into your TV and watch the analog channels where as the DTV you connect the coax into the STB receiver in order to decode the digital signals because not all tv's are able to decode MPEG2 / MPEG4/H.264   signals
