Hi Guys
I visit Cyprus 2-3 times a year and would like to visit more and stay longer. However,to keep working with my internet business, I have to resort to internet cafes and the poor internet services supplied in hotels. Who supplies a reliable laptop dongle service? How much do they cost?
Can you buy a visitors contract that can be switched on when arriving and switched off when leaving?

Also, places that I rent nobody seems to have wi-fi, hence my despair! Cry
Can anybody help?
Regards

There are two carriers in cyprus both of which offer high speed internet access via cell phone/usb 3g modem.

There are places you can rent out longer term which work out cheaper than hotels. Some places will have wifi or internet connectivity already available.

3G connectivity is pretty expensive and works on a volume downloaded as opposed to a flat rate.

The other trick would be to befriend somebody who lives here and use their connection. I'm sure the "bribe" would work out way cheaper than getting an actual subscription.

At the end of the day it depends on what connectivity you expect and how much you're prepared to shell out for it.
