it says upgrades started july 2010? how come nicosia has not been upgraded yet? will it ever be upgraded or was it a fake text?

seems weird that people claim they got these texts from cytanet, they where lying? why would cytanet send out texts and lie

oh well....  i wish i lived in a cable area. but even if i did i am not sure i would pay 69 euros for 10mbits lol

do you know is there a website i can check how close i am to the exchange?

if they are going to start upgrading from 1st of december then they shall send mass emails to all customers 2-3 days before to inform and give instructions if needed...but i think last time they made a press release for the upgrade and new packages also...maybe next week unless they wont do it or the regulator pushed them for january

Tis now the 1st of December and thus far I'm not seeing any speed increase. There is also no announcement on Cyta or Cytanet's webpages. Looks like the Ministry for the Retardation of the Internet aka "the regulator" has once again screwed the consumer over.

Cyta are definitely ready though, checking the modem out I noticed:

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]:   999 / 9.814

Did the usual logoff/logon and still nothing.
