Guys, I am thinking of changing from CYTA and moving to CableNet, but I am curious how many clients does CableNet has? Someone told me 300!?! Is that possible? They must have at least double than that right?

Best Regards,
Marcos

They have over 2000 customers as far as I am aware.

Even we have more than 300!

Hello there!
It seems that you are correct, it seems that they do have more than 300 Smiley I found data from the Regulator from last December stating that they have 450 customers.
But I don't think that they have over 2000 today... it seems way too much.
Anyway I am sure they provide a better service with less customers Smiley

As far it concerns with customers, i am sure of that, because last week when i got tho their offices to submit a connection, there where lots of people there who where making connections there, and most of them with a cyta bill on their hands, so that they are moving to cablenet.
I would agree with marcos having said that: they provide better service with less customers.
I believe that is granted. If you are in my neighborhood Don't dare to move to cablenet, so that I enjoy grater speeds (because cable is a shared medium and users share the medium speed). If you however ignore me, and move to cablenet I will hunt you down and kill you .... hahaha  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I dont know how many customers they have but apparently they over did it lately. I've been a customer with cablenet for 1.5 years now and i must admit up until a week ago i was really satisfied with the internet speeds. Since last week though speeds went down, i contacted their support twice and actually they admitted that the problem is due to having too many customers and that the system can't take the load but they're working on upgrades. I have their 10mbit package and at this particular moment on speedtest.net i get 600kb down with the London server - if i run their local speedtest at wavespeed i get 10mbit which means they're having problems with their international link. Judging from the history i had with them till now i believe its a temporary issue that will be resolved soon. I'll keep you updated.
